Daniel and I spent the day with four of our teen reading promoters who were able to come to Guatemala City to attend the International Book Fair. The kids had the proud pleasure of being introduced to our colleagues who do literacy work around the country, browse through all kinds of books, watch other storytellers in action and pick up some ideas they can incorporate in their own activities. For most it was their first time in the Capital so we took a bit of a tour later in the afternoon. It's been a treat for me to have so much quality time with them, to see how much they like and respect Daniel and how friendships have developed among them.
